I can’t believe I forget the KGB bar entirely. I didn’t even write about it in my trip journal and it was one of the experiences that stood out the most because it was so bizarre! One of the nights we were out for drinks we saw a bar called KGB and we were so surprised we had to go in. i have been researching the relationship between Russia and Colombia to see any correlation and not coming up with much outside of a list of Colombian communists. The KGB’s Facebook pages declares, “This business has NO political or communist connotation, it is just an art gallery, inspired by historical fact.”

There was so much to look at and the back room was outfitted to appear as a submarine. We didn’t stay long as we’d already had a handful of cocktails that night and the bar was rather dead. I’m so glad we ran into it.
